Steve Thomas-Williams

Steve is a seasoned business and finance leader with over 30 years of proven regional and international experience. He is well known in the Middle East banking world, initially working for Lloyds TSB Middle East as Chief Operating Officer. He then took on the Group Chief Executive Officer role of Gulf Finance Corporation in 2008. Within five years, he had turned the business around and positioned it in to a leading and award winning regional asset finance lender. In 2013, Steve set up Linklease, a leading provider of equipment leasing and rental in numerous industry sectors. In 2013, Steve was also independently voted as one of the Top 50 Influential Brits in the UAE by Arabian Business.

Claire Thomas-Williams

Claire has a successful 12 year track record in senior HR roles within major banks. Before she left the UK, Claire's last role was reporting to the Global Group HR Director, leading HR Development for the Lloyds Banking Group (LBG). In the Middle East she was Regional Head of HR for LBG and subsequently at Standard Chartered, where she had responsibility for 3,000 employees. Claire now co-owns the expanding Middle East and Africa leasing company, Linklease. She holds an MSc (distinction) in HR Management and CIPD (distinction).

Hesham Dahman

Hesham has served in various front office roles for over 15 years. In his last role, at MINT Partners (a division of BGC), Hesham was part of the Capital Markets team – working on numerous debt and equity raises. Prior to this he was at State Street Global Advisors for seven years. Four of those years was spent as Head of Client Service for their $30bn AuM EMEA Cash Business – covering institutional clients across registered money market funds and short-duration fixed income strategies.

John Bennie

John has over 30 years of experience in the institutional financial markets; holding senior roles at Standard Life Investments, Institutional Cash Distributors (ICD) and BGC. At Standard Life Investments, John was a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager and Member of the Group ALCO. He was pivotal in launching their EMTN, ECP and Securitisation Programmes. John then joined ICD to create an offshore operation and grew assets to over $20bn and was a key member of the management team. Latterly John was Head of Investment Solutions at Mint Partners (a Division of BGC).
